Tour Day Experience

Every Sprea Zampe tour follows a proven structure designed to maximise wildlife encounters and photography learning.

01 — Pre-Dawn Meetup

We gather before sunrise at our West Yellowstone office. Coffee, briefing, and camera settings review before heading into the park.

02 — Field Photography

Guided positioning at prime wildlife locations. Your guide handles park regulations, animal behaviour prediction, and real-time coaching.

03 — Image Review

Multi-day tours include evening review sessions. Get feedback on composition, exposure, and post-processing techniques from published photographers.

Recommended Gear

Lenses

400mm or longer telephoto recommended for wildlife. We carry loaner teleconverters for guests who need extra reach on full-frame bodies.

Support

Sturdy tripod or monopod essential for dawn shoots. Bean bags available for vehicle-window photography during road-based sessions.

Clothing

Layer for temperature swings from 20°F to 70°F. Neutral earth tones preferred. We provide a detailed packing list upon booking.
